Once approved, the portrait is printed on-site as a full-size 6×8 portrait. One full-size copy is provided for each guest pictured, with private digital copies available after the event.

Guests explore a considered collection of portrait concepts rather than inventing a prompt or settling for a preset result. Guidance is available whenever a guest would like help narrowing the collection, and every portrait is presented for approval.
The experience is founder-led from selection through printing and pickup. Guests who love the familiar photo-strip look can also choose one of the collection's classic four-frame strip concepts, created through the same MyPortraitBooth portrait process.

A custom event mark may be incorporated into every finished portrait—from monograms and names to dates, corporate logos, or supplied event artwork. Each treatment is prepared in advance and applied consistently throughout the event.

A two-hour MyPortraitBooth experience begins at $2,000 CAD, with additional coverage available at $750 CAD per hour. Share your event date, venue, guest count, and schedule to receive a recommended service window and tailored proposal.

A few details before the event
FAQ
Do guests receive a digital copy?+-
Yes. Every approved portrait is printed at the event, and each guest who wants the digital version may provide an email address. We send each recipient a private link to the group's approved portrait within 48 hours after the event. The link remains active for 14 days.
How long does each portrait take?+-
It takes about five minutes from photo to finished print. Guests can wait nearby, or return to the party and come back when they are ready to review and collect it.
How do guests select a portrait concept?+-
Guests browse categories like mood, era, sport, or celebration, then pick the style they want. If they're not sure, we help match their idea to a concept that works.
Is an app required?+-
No. Guests can flip through the portrait book or scan a QR code on their own phone. If they need help choosing, we search the collection with them. There is nothing to install.
How many guests can be accommodated?+-
Capacity depends on group sizes, the event schedule, and the time needed to create, review, and print each portrait. Couples, families, and friends can take one portrait together, and we'll recommend the event length after reviewing your plans.
Can groups be photographed together?+-
Yes. Guests can participate alone, as a couple, or with family and friends.
Does each person in a group receive a copy?+-
Yes. One full-size 6×8 copy is printed for every person pictured.
What is required from the venue?+-
We need a suitable setup area, access to power, enough room for photography and portrait pickup, and either venue internet or permission to use our cellular hotspot. We confirm access, arrival time, connectivity, and the layout beforehand.
Are children welcome to participate?+-
Yes. Children, teens, parents, and grandparents can participate alone or together.
Is every portrait reviewed before printing?+-
Yes. We review the faces, details, and crop, then show it for approval before printing.
Where is MyPortraitBooth available?+-
We are based in Montreal and serve events throughout the city, West Island, Laval, the South Shore, and surrounding areas.
May guests create more than one portrait?+-
Yes. If time allows, guests can create additional portraits.
Is framing available?+-
Each portrait comes in a protective sleeve. Frames can be added in advance for selected guests or for the whole event.
Was the MyPortraitBooth experience built in-house?+-
Yes. The portrait catalogue, guest QR experience, photography workflow, private review tools, approval process, print preparation, and event-management system were designed and built specifically for MyPortraitBooth. It is not a rented or white-label photo-booth platform—the complete experience is shaped and operated by the founders.
Can guests choose a classic photo-booth strip?+-
Yes. The collection includes classic photo-booth-strip concepts. Guests can choose a four-frame strip design and receive a finished strip-style portrait with varied expressions and poses. The complete composition is reviewed, approved, and printed in our full-size 6×8 format.
